Cross-cultural aspects of ELT in the multinational classroom: hidden dimensions
What comes to your mind when you mention the concept “culture”? Some people might think of the medieval ages, the golden age of literature and arts, some – about proper table manners. Everybody has their own understanding of this complicated notion, depending on the background, age and occupation. Different definitions of "culture" reflect different theoretical bases for understanding, or criteria for evaluating, human activity.
