The development of comedy.

Comedy – a dramatic work, in which with the help of the methods of humor and satire negative social and domestic phenomena uncover themselves in reality or in a man. Comedy as a genre appeared in the ancient Greece. The Old Greek comedy took the qualities of the political satire. So, the works of the famous antic comedy dramatist Aristophanes are connected with the actual problems of the social life, philosophy and arts. The peripeties of private life were in the centre of the Greek and new antic comedy and the Roman comedy [1].
